Dear All,
As you will have seen via the Sherington WhatsApp groups, the contract at our wonderful village shop, Squirrel Stores, comes to an end in August. Unfortunately, despite many attempts to attract more customers through the door, footfall remains low, which means unless things change and our villagers (that don’t already) start to use and support the shop, we are in danger of losing it.
In an attempt to assist and find additional ways to attract more custom, the Parish Council have kindly agreed to set up a working group to work alongside Giles and Lisa, to see if there is anything we can collectively do to attract more custom. We would love a few villagers to join the group, so that we can collectively work together to share thoughts on how we cant drum up support. The first meeting is arranged for 6pm on 20 June (at The White Hart) and if you would like to attend, please let us know.
Best regards,
Parish Council
