Milton Keynes Free Archaeology Day

Milton Keynes’ free Archaeology Day returns for its tenth year on Saturday 12 November at Milton Keynes’ Central Library from 10am to 4pm.

This year the open day will be featuring stands, displays and activities from local societies, archaeological units and the Portable Antiquities Service.

Confirmed speakers are Mark Knight on the Must Farm Bronze Age Settlement; Ben Ford on Westgate – Oxford’s largest ever excavation and Bob Zeepvat on the Wolverton Anglo-Saxon cemetery. There will also be a ‘hands-on’ archaeology workshop for children.
